Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and EME Hub ("we") for the Video Lock browser extension and Premium subscriptions. By installing Video Lock or buying a plan, you accept them. Contact: support@eme-hub.com.

The service

Video Lock adds a lock to the video player on YouTube, so a video can be watched without the page being changed or navigated away from. Free use includes 5 minutes of locked playback per day per Google account, shared across your devices, and requires signing in with Google. Premium removes that limit.

Video Lock is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Your use of YouTube remains subject to YouTube's own terms. Video Lock doesn't remove, skip or block YouTube ads. YouTube can change its website at any time, which may temporarily affect Video Lock.

Plans and payment

• Personal, monthly: US$3 for 30 days, up to 1 device
• Personal, yearly: US$30 for 365 days, up to 1 device
• Family, monthly: US$5 for 30 days, up to 5 devices
• Family, yearly: US$50 for 365 days, up to 5 devices

Prices are in US dollars and include any taxes we're required to charge, unless checkout shows otherwise. Plans are prepaid and don't renew automatically. Renewing early adds the new time to the time you have left. Payments are processed by our payment processor. Your payment provider may charge its own fees, for example for currency conversion.

Devices

Each plan covers a set number of devices signed in at the same time. When you go over the limit, the device that signed in earliest is signed out. Plans are for you or your household, and can't be resold or shared publicly.

Refunds

If Premium doesn't work for you, email support@eme-hub.com within 7 days of payment for a full refund. After that, payments are non-refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. When we refund a payment, the Premium time it bought is removed.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attacking, reverse-engineering to bypass payments, reselling access, or using it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do, and we'll refund unused prepaid time unless the suspension is for fraud.

Disclaimer and liability

Video Lock is a convenience tool, not a guarantee of child safety. Supervise children's viewing. The service is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

Ending your account

You can stop using Video Lock at any time and delete your account from the Premium page. Deleting your account ends any remaining Premium time, without refund except as described above.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll give notice by email or in the extension. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
